How to wash cashmere?

It is said that cashmere is a “living fibre” that “loves water”, so it is not necessary to worry about frequent washing, even if the first time the pullover should be decatised in the dyehouse. Thus it can be washed, either by hand or in the washing machine, with neutral soap, at a temperature not above 30°C and laid on a flat surface in the shade.
